We are leaving St. John’s working our way back to the ferry at Port aux Basque. We purposely skipped places on the way over that we will now do on the way back. Today we head for the Bonavista Peninsula.
After arriving at the RV park, we drove into the historic town of Trinity to walk about the buildings, have ice cream and take some photos.
It was hot and humid when we arrived so we thought it might be too hot to hike world famous Skerwink trail. So we drove out to the lighthouse to see it. The road was very worn out, populated with large rocks which were hard on the CRV. The views back towards Trinity were excellent.
