Another short move north to Vernon and the Swan Lark RV Park.
We got some nice views as we drove above the shore of Kalamalka Lake.
And then down into Vernon.
We are at another small park about 5 km out of town on the western shore of Swan Lake. There are mostly seasonal people here but there are a few transient sites.
There are some nice provincial parks around Vernon but the price is about the same as this place and they have no hookups. With temperatures supposed to hit the low 30sC this week we are going to want our AC.
We have a somewhat obstructed view of the lake.
Those are tents sites in front of us. The water level is a bit high here as the lakeshore is encroaching on their grass and the ground near shore is a little soggy.
A photosphere from the shoreline.
They have a paddle boat, canoe and some row boats that are free to use but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere interesting to go to along the shoreline.
After setup and lunch we went into town to grab more brochures at the visitor’s center and then did some shopping.
We are here for 5 nights.
Love the road pics and the lakeside rv park looks beautiful!!!
