Yesterday is rained hard all day so we took a day off as it had been a while since we had done nothing.
Today we spent time at the Gros Morne Discovery Centre 10:30 – 2:00, learning about the geological significance of the national park and reading up on the flora and fauna. There are so many wildflowers everywhere (over 300 species of orchids all growing wild, unattended and thriving).
I lost track of time, so we had a late lunch at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Rocky Harbour. The fish and chips were not good; seafood chowder was mediocre but partridgeberry pudding with rum sauce was great.
We decided that after drinking the rum sauce we need to do the 1 km hike Southeast Brook Falls to work off the calories.
By the time we got back to RV it started to rain; what great luck; we made it back without getting wet.
