About Us

We are Jennie and Stuart from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are currently at home planning next year’s trip.

Jennie likes the sport of curling so we still spend our winters in Toronto and will be spending our summers in the RV exploring North America. Jennie has been retired for a while and Stuart got laid off in 2009 and decided to retire early. We had been looking at RV's for many years and when the kids moved out in January 2010 we were ready. We bought at 37 foot class A in April 2010 and were on the road for the summer in June. When traveling, we don't like cities much, other than for some retail therapy so we spend as little time in them as possible. Our best days are the ones we can spend hiking around the great outdoors.

• In the summer of 2011 we explored the US Pacific Northwest, mainly Oregon and Washington State but hitting Glacier, Yellowstone and Badlands National parks on the way back home.
• In the summer of 2010 we went to Atlantic Canada. We spent most of our time (6 weeks) in Newfoundland but also went to the parts of Nova Scotia that we had missed in a previous trip.
• In September 2007 we went on a two week guided tour of China, stopping in Beijing, Xian, Li River, Three Gorges and Shanghai.
• In March 2001 we spent two week in a rented RV exploring the south and north islands of New Zealand. Then we went on a 5 day cruise on the Great Barrier Reef out of Cairns.
